The Laurel Prize is run in association with the Poetry School.  The prize was inaugurated in 2020 with the support of Simon Armitage, Poet Laureate, and is an annual award for the best collection of nature or environmental poetry to highlight the climate crisis and raise awareness of the challenges and potential solutions at this critical point in our planet’s life. In partnership with the Laurel Prize, Poetry Archive is delighted to host a selection of recordings by Pascale Petit whose collection, ‘Mama Amazonica’, was the 2020 Laurel Prize winner.   We look forward to adding to our Laurel Prize collection year on year
