On sunny days she’s always on the wing
dusky brown autumn brown
she delights in open ground
She’s agile over hedge and scrub
cocoa brown mocha brown
she delights in open ground
How fast she flies in upland meadows
brindle brown bracken brown
she delights in open ground
She skims the moorland and the downs
fuscous brown fawn brown
she delights in open ground
