A mòrt di piccìnne dòle chiù de tùtt
a natùr, a gjustìžžje. Só cóse cumplecäte.
Cé jéte a gjustìžžje, niššùne u sape.
Cé castìje pó ma scuntä?
Non ne stone šcuse, bušije, verità.
A mòrt di piccìnne non se pò scusä.
Cùdde ca vòl rašion se pènž ca
pò léše a sòrte. E pure ca nu gjuräme,
Cé jéte a gjustìžžje, niššùne u sape
a sòrte, cé stä ‘nnanže a vìje. Cùdde ca
vòl rašion, ca faše e faše, diše bušije,
Ma a mòrt di piccìnne non se pò scusä
Mort, purcé mjen a cuvèrte sùse alli piccìnn?
Réte alli scùr ammarräte, a mamme e l’attane chianjen.
Cé jéte a gjustìžžje, niššùne u sape.
Forèstjére, cumbàgne, allóre consulateše, dateše curàjje,
Sim o non sim tutt mamme e atténe quann i piccìnn moréne?
