What do Birds Say?

Friday, a sparrow cried:

‘Me! Me!’

That was difficult.

Saturday, it was: ‘You!’

I liked this no better.

On Sunday I heard

The Sparrow say,

‘We!’ Bird and I

Enfolded together:

Syrinx, logos, feather cry.
