This collection features a selection of poems written by previous winners of the Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award which is sponsored by the Foyle Foundation and run by the Poetry Society. Established in 1998, this competition is an opportunity for any young poet aged between 11 and 17 to kick start their creative careers. The award has introduced some of today’s most inventive and inspiring new voices and it is a testament to their talent that many have gone one to forge successful careers. The Poetry Archive has created this special collection which we are sure will grow and grow – we hope you will love to explore it here.
