Loping down a muddy track –
Rabid – toothless – fled the pack –
Vegan wolf – no appetite –
Lost the bark – mislaid the bite.
Outcast – loopy – pelt gone grey –
Loner – turncoat – hunts no prey –
Scavenger – laps verse for blood –
Drowning in an autumn flood.
